Third party SSL certificates
LxRoot automatically request a Let's Encrypt certificate for websites on LxRoot cluster. An SSL certificate from a third-party can be installed at any point.
WARNING
3 days before the expiry of a third party certificate, LxRoot will automatically request a Let's Encrypt certificate.
# Install SSL certificate
To install a third-party SSL certificate:
TIP
Installing a third-party SSL certificate will override any existing certificate.
- Open Websites in the left sidebar
- Select the website you would like to request a certificate for
- On the website dashboard select Advanced then Security
- Scroll to SSL certificates
- Select Install SSL and complete the form
