Importing a Plesk backup

This 'Plesk import' tool is in BETA. This means the tool has been thoroughly tested but you may stumble across obscurities. Please report any unusual behaviour to support@LxRoot.com.
LxRoot's 'Plesk importer' tool allows you to migrate a Plesk backup to LxRoot.
A Plesk import to LxRoot will restore a full website backup. Websites should work exactly as they did on plesk. Some proprietary features available on Plesk are not supported on LxRoot, these tools will not be copied across.
The following will be imported:
- Primary website
- Sub and alias domains will become mapped domains within a single website?!
- All files
- All database
- Any installed applications
- All email accounts with their passwords and email data
- All forwarders-only accounts
- Any existing SSL certificate
- Scheduled tasks
- PHP version
- FTP accounts
- MX and TXT for SPF records
The following proprietary tools are not supported on LxRoot:
- Postgres databases
- Wildcard subdomains
- Mailman settings
- Directory privacy
- PostgreSQL databases
- Catch all email addresses
- Autoresponders
- Calendars and contacts`
- Existing statistics
- Error pages
# Importing a Plesk backup
WARNING
If any domains you are importing already exist in your LxRoot account, you will need to delete these to proceed with the import.
To import a Plesk backup to LxRoot:
- Select Websiter importer in the left side bar
- Click New import
- Select Plesk
- Follow the onscreen instructions to generate a compatible Plesk backup. Your backup must be a full backup which is not password protected. Save the file to your desktop.
- Click Next step
- Click Choose file to upload your Plesk backup
- Click Next step
- Once the page loads. Check for any conflicts (Any conflicts that are blocking your website import will be highlighted in the red modal)
- Select Import now to finish
